What is this thing. What does it do.

If you give this bonus to an adult animal it will have the babies appearance. E.g if you have an adult lion and give it this bonus it will look like a cub.

Will it become a cub? Like, will it be able to reproduce?

It can still do everything normally, it will just change the image.
